Profile: Ophthalmic Intl. provides pneumatic trabeculoplasty device (PNT). The PNT is a safe, noninvasive method clinically demonstrated to lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), pigmentary glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Our product line includes PNT vacuum ring & PNT vacuum controller. The PNT vacuum ring is a sterilized single use disposable ring. The PNT vacuum controller is integrated with bar code reader & vacuum display. The PNT uses a specially designed, patented, sterile, disposable PNT suction ring. The PNT ring is applied to the patient’s eye, and connected to a vacuum controller which has been specifically designed to deliver a vacuum of approximately 21 inches of Hg for a duration of one minute. A PNT treatment involves 2 applications with a rest period of 5 minutes between each application.
