Profile: Patton Surgical specializes in surgical instrument technology. Our products are Passport® double shielded access device, Hasson H2® cannulas(blunt access device) and non- shielded access device. Our Passport® double shielded access device represents trocar technology. A blunt tip shield covers the cutting tip while the smartip enters the abdominal cavity. A blade shield protects the blade edges before the cannula reaches the peritoneum. It penetrates smoothly through muscle/fascia and enters abdominal cavity in blunt manner. Our non-shielded access devices are designed for accessory ports placed under direct visualization. These disposable trocars feature the high quality Funnel™ cannula in combination with a stainless steel pyramidal tip. It is available in 55 mm and 70 mm lengths. Our H2 cannula length is easily adjusted by twisting the cannula through the cone, eliminating the need for bulky locking mechanisms. The potential for slippage of the cone off the cannula during adjustment is eliminated. Additionally, the hourglass shape of the H2 cone extends farther into the abdominal wall to reduce loss of pneumoperitoneum.
