Profile: Pennsylvania College of Optometry provides graduate degree programs in optometry, audiology and rehabilitation for the blind and visually impaired. We are accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) of the American Optometric Association & Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Students who graduate from a CAA accredited program are eligible for ASHA certification in Audiology (CCC-A). We educate health care professionals, educators & conduct research programs for the patients, & rehabilitative services for the visually impaired. We are involved in inter-disciplinary clinical training & off-campus externship programs. Our clinical facility includes adult primary care, pediatric, vision rehabilitation, laser procedures, sub-specialty optometry services and sub-specialty ophthalmology services.
