Profile: PK Chemicals A/S manufactures derivatives and chemicals for pharmaceutical, biotech and cosmetic industries. We provide DEAE-dextran, dextran sulphates and carboxymethyl-dextrans. Our dextran sulphate is a polyanionic derivative of dextran, which is used for transfection and stabilizing proteins. These are used in molecular biology and the health-care products. Our Diethylaminoethyl-Dextran is used to manufacture adjuvant in vaccines, enhancers for viral infectivity, stabilizers for proteins, and agents for transfections & reduction of cholesterol count. Our carboxymethyl dextran is used to create low-toxic derivatives with drugs and pharmacologically active substances.
