Profile: Portacare LLC designs and builds equipment for those with limited mobility. We have designed the EZ-Walker to provide complete support on land, while replicating the gentle, fluid motion of a work-out in water. In this, the dual pneumatic lifts allow subjects to control the weight born by their legs. It is completely stable and can be used by even very heavy patients. It is sturdy enough to support even those with limited trunk balance. Our PortaTub is a lightweight, fully portable bathing tub. It is made of stainless steel and fitted with industrial-grade rubber wheels. It rolls easily through standard doorways. It is easy to step down from any bed, into the open tub. We design a mechanism that allows either wheel to be moved backward and locked into place. This not only solves the problem of the fixed wheel, but also expands the footprint of the wheelchair for greater stability during egress.
