Profile: Radiology Support Devices specializes in radiation therapy, radiology, nuclear medicine, health physics and pain management. We are engaged in duplicating the human body. The dynamic breathing phantom is based on the Alderson radiation therapy phantom. The soft tissue materials in the breathing phantom are elasticized versions of the same materials refined for the ART phantom. Rigid bones are incorporated and move under the respiring motion in the phantom. The elastic lungs have realistic respiratory density. Our Pixy® is an anthropomorphic training/teaching phantom. It is designed specifically for training radiology technologists. It is made of tissue-equivalent materials and has life-like articulations.
The company was founded in 1988, has revenues of < USD 1 Million, has ~30 employees.
