Profile: Ralco S.R.L. manufactures radiology collimators. We have acquired the CE, CSQ, CISQ, IQNET, ISO9001 and cCSAus certifications. Our X-ray collimators are divided into three groups such as manual, motorized and automatic systems. The manual collimators involve manual controlling of the shutters which define the X-ray field. Control is normally performed by two knobs on the front panel. The motorized collimators use motors to control the movement of shutters defining the X-ray field, and potentiometers to control shutter positioning. In automized collimators, the movements of the shutters and shutter positioning / collimation are automatically controlled according to the variation of the focus film distance (FFD) via CAN BUS control.
