Profile: Redsense Medical Ab specializes in clinical tested monitoring systems. We develop a functioning alarm for monitoring the venous needle during hemodialysis mainly for the clinical environment. Our blood loss detection device has two parts such as, sensor patch and an alarm unit. Connected to the alarm unit by a small wire, the sensor patch employs fibre optic technology to continuously monitor the venous needle access point. We connect the sensor patch to the alarm unit with the connector and activate the alarm unit by pressing the switch to on to red sense that is monitoring the access point. Our alarm unit transmits an infrared signal to the sensor-a fibre optic cable with a hairpin bend embedded at the center of the sensor patch. Our signal to the sensor is continuous and alarm reacts instantly to the first drop of blood. We provide loud audible alarm and a flashing red lamp on the alarm unit.

• Autonomous Extracorporeal Blood Leak Detector/Alarm (FDA Code: ODX / 876.5820) A hemodialysis system and accessories is a device that is used as an artificial kidney system for the treatment of patients with renal failure or toxemic conditions and that consists of an extracorporeal blood system, a conventional dialyzer, a dialysate delivery system, and accessories. Blood from a patient flows through the tubing of the extracorporeal blood system and accessories to the blood compartment of the dialyzer, then returns through further tubing of the extracorporeal blood system to the patient. The dialyzer has two compartments that are separated by a semipermeable membrane. While the blood is in the blood compartment, undesirable substances in the blood pass through the semipermeable membrane into the dialysate in the dialysate compartment. The dialysate delivery system controls and monitors the dialysate circulating through the dialysate compartment of the dialyzer. |
