We also offer nose prosthesis, ear prosthesis and chin & cheek prosthesis. Our maxillofacial prosthesis replaces the absent anatomic part or organ with an artificial one. The custom making of the prosthetic begins with an impression of the affected area. Then a stonecast is made of the defect and sculpted in wax to match the existing tissue. Our artificial eye prosthesis is made by a custom conformer technique that is performed by taking an impression of the ocular socket. The conformer is made of high quality plastic. The color of the iris is painted to match the color of the other eye.
