Profile: Safer Sleep LLC provides anesthesia safety & record automation solution for hospitals and ambulatory surgical facilities. Our SAFERsleep® System replaces the handwritten record and reduces anaesthetic workload. It combines barcode technology with a software based information management system to reduce the likelihood of drug errors in the operating room and to automate the creation of anesthetic patient records. The heart of the SAFERsleep® System is the SAFERsleep OR workstation, which employs a touch-screen and barcode user interface. The workstation is positioned ergonomically on the anesthetic machine and connects to the operating room anesthetic monitors for data collection. The system is designed to increase safety in anesthesia by intercepting known error precursors before human error occurs.
