Profile: Scale-Tronix, Inc. specializes in offering medical scales and patient weighing systems for hospitals, clinics & extended-care facilities. We manufacture a complete selection of patient scales and weighing systems in the medical field. Our medical scales are designed with the input of clinicians to provide the needed ease of use, maximum patient comfort and safety. Custom scale designs for hospitals and equipment manufacturers are also available. We supply scales and weighing systems for the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, heart transplant patients, burn patients, and liquid oxygen. The 2001 bed scale is designed for weighing non-ambulatory patients. It makes in bed weighing as easy as changing bed sheets. Sophisticated stretcher design accommodates any patient without cradling that could disturb life support hook-ups. With pediatric stretcher and bars, model 2001 can be used for patients in cribs or pediatric beds. The 2001's patented transducer assures correct readings no matter where the patient is positioned on the stretcher. The scale has no moving parts in the weighing mechanism and never needs recalibration.

The company was founded in 1975, has ~40 employees and is ISO, CE certified.
