Profile: Shore Medical, Inc. is a manufacturer of disposable medical devices. We produce a wide variety of products that include endotracheal tube guides, esophageal stethoscope, tympanic probe, skin sensor and general purpose probes. Our disposable esophageal stethoscope with temperature sensor is used in a surgical setting for monitoring temperature, heart, and breath sounds of anesthetized patients. Inserted into the esophagus, the stethoscope provides an accurate measurement of core body temperature, as well transmitting clear heart and lung sounds to the anesthesiologist. Our gas sampling lines are manufactured to the highest quality standards using all medical-grade materials. Each gas line is designed to fit any standard luer connection. We offer several different interface cables. Our tympanic probe is designed to be a less intrusive way to accurately measure body temperature. By measuring body temperature from the tympanic membrane -through the ear canal - the patient is not forced to experience the discomfort of placing an esophageal or rectal probe.
