Profile: Sicel Technologies, Inc. develops surface dosimetry radiation measurement devices. OneDose™ is a patient dosimetry verification system specifically designed for radiation oncology therapy. The system provides individualized patient dosimetry measurements to help optimize therapy by accurately and rapidly measuring radiation dosage through the use of a small, disposable adhesive patch. OneDose™ has evolved from Implantable Technology and is pre-calibrated. DVS® is the first and only implantable radiation dosimeter to verify radiation dose delivered to the tumor site. In conjunction with planning and delivery tools used in radiation therapy, it provides information to deliver more consistent daily dose and optimized treatment plans to each patient. The DVS® is a miniature wireless sensor -2 mm in diameter and 18 mm long - implanted into unresectable, solid-mass tumors using minimally invasive procedures. The sensors gather data on tumor cell kinetics and physiology. The systems can continuously monitor biological and physiological changes in cell and organ systems.
