Profile: Sorbion Ag deals with wound treatments and stoma therapies. We specialize in wound care solutions. Our straumatic protection Sorbion plus is a combination of a single inert material ultra low density polyethylene and a three dimensional structure, making a wound contact layer with minimum contact coverage. This is an optimal primary dressing for a variety of treatment regimes. Our Sorbion sana consists of an absorbent core with hydration response technology and a unique 3 dimensional outer cover made of polyethylene to support tissue regeneration. This allows the avoidance of glues and adhesives makes it a non-sensitizing dressing. Our S colostomy sachet absorbs fluids quickly and binds in the absorptive core. These binding of fluids are used to prevent the adhesive plate from being washed away. We produce hydration response sorbion sachets, which combines physically modified cellulose fibers with gel-forming components, to prepare the wound bed for healing. It is also suitable for exuding wounds.
