Profile: Summit Medical Limited specializes in the in-house manufacture of solutions for bone cement mixing devices and autologous blood transfusion. We manufacture and supply single use medical devices. HiVac™7 is an evolution of piston-style mixing devices offering significant features for theatre staff & surgeons. It includes clear mixing tubes, optimum vacuum of 550mmHg, closed systems, colored mixing rod snap points, triple mix options and narrow delivery syringes. HiVac™7 features a clear tube allowing the clinician to have an unclouded view of the cement during mixing. HiVac™7 comes in a full range of sizes for mixing quantities of cement up to 120g. It has a narrow mixing tube which, in combination with a new gun, provides the surgeon with precise control over cement extrusion and the potential to generate increased delivery pressures. We distribute Medinorm pre-vacuumed closed wound drainage systems. Medinorm systems provide a constant high or low negative pressure during the entire wound healing process preventing the wound surfaces and underlying tissue layers from being disturbed. This reduces incidences of haematomas, infections and rehospitalisation.
The company was founded in 1984.
