Profile: TNC Devices, Inc. offers SteriCup™. Our SteriCup™ was designed to protect patients, hospital personnel and equipment from blood-borne pathogens. The mouth of the device is wide enough for easy insertion of a Yankauer suction instrument or suction catheter, and the endotracheal tube and airway following tracheal intubation. On each side of the cup are two quick-release buttons for removal of the cup from its mount. Molded around an internal lip of the cup is a 12 inch sterile plastic latex-free bag that serves as a protective barrier between potential blood contaminated airway secretions and the environment. A number of mounts are available for use in the operating room and other areas of the hospital where suction is used. The mounts are designed for attachment to an operating room table, IV pole or patient bed.
