Profile: Tartan Orthopedics, Ltd. provides abdominal binders, acromioclavicular splints, ankle splints, wraps, supports for the back, trochanter, lumbar, sacral and dorsal lumbar regions. We also supply cervical collars, clavicle straps, knee splints, knee supports, rib belts, wrist supports, shoulder immobilizers, shin splint, traction appliance, and workman’s belt. Our cervical collar is designed for semi rigid immobilization. It is made of a comfortable medium density foam, covered with stockinet and has a hook and loop closure. The height is proportional to the length of the collar. Our split foam collar is designed to be used in either the extension or flexion position. The grommets at each end allow the collar to be also used as a head halter for cervical traction. Our clavicle strap solves a very difficult problem for those who need to adjust the clavicle strap alone. The design extends the length of the webbing straps allowing the strap to pass through a loop on the back pad and return back over the shoulder to fasten with hook and loop in the front, where a patient may easily adjust the clavicle strap to the proper tension.
The company was founded in 1974, has revenues of < USD 1 Million, has ~10 employees.
