Profile: The Bremer Group Co. designs, manufactures and distributes orthoses that protect the patient's lumbar and thoracolumbosacral spine. Our products are ideal for use during diagnosis, treatment & healing of the patient, while uniquely supporting the needs of the healthcare professional. Our products are ComfAlign® spinal support and VertAlign® spinal support system. Our comfalign spinal support assures unparalleled comfort and convenience while helping to control improper motion. It has proprietary internal mechanism that allows precise lumbar adjustments from 0° to 40°. Its unique, innovative ladder strap and ratchet closure makes comfalign simple to apply, adjust and remove. These ratchets allow significant compression without extensive exertion from the patient. Our vertalign orthosis is a patented lightweight, rigid plastic support also known as a thoracolumbosacral orthosis (TLSO). This means that it will support the back from an area between the shoulder blades (scapulae) to a point just above the buttocks. It consists of a front, back and two side shells, fastened by hook-and-loop closure straps threaded through buckles and/or ratchet and ladder straps. Once adjusted to shape, application is simple and may be performed without the help of others as medical condition allows.
The company was founded in 1994, has revenues of USD 1-5 Million, has ~10 employees.
