Profile: The Low Vision Center of Indianapolis provides a wide range of low vision services. We work extensively with vision disorders from stroke and other brain injuries including hemianopsia & double vision. We provide Jordy, EyeFine, PVA and Eye Can Read Machine. The PVA is a remarkable new electronic magnification system, which is designed with the special needs of the macular degeneration patient in mind. Our kettelwell handle provides a stable platform for holding telescopes. It also prevents round telescopes from rolling off desktops. Pictured here is a 2.2X walter telescope mounted in reverse form as a handheld field expander. Without the handle, it would be too small to use easily and also helpful for patients who have limited dexterity.
