Profile: Therox, Inc. offers AO system, disposables and DownStream® system. Our SSO2 therapy complements percutaneous coronary intervention. It delivers superoxygenated arterial blood, which can lead to reduction in infarct size, and potentially reduce heart damage following a heart attack. It consists of a disposable cartridge powered by a transportable system with an easy-to-use interface that delivers a precise concentration of oxygen to the patient’s own blood. Our AO system is a mobile hardware device that interfaces with the AO cartridge. The system controls cartridge operation, wherein SSO2 solution is created and mixed with the patient’s blood to create super oxygenated blood for delivery to the coronary arteries. The single use products are AO cartridge and catheters. The DownStream system is a technology under development for the treatment of heart attack.
