Profile: Tomey Corp. focuses on the field of ultrasound, corneal topography, refractive products and electrophysiology. The AL-100 ultra sound is designed for fast, simple operation. Tone-assisted measurement notifies the operator when the probe is aligned & measurements recorded. It takes up to 10 readings, for use in the IOL calculation, measures axial lengths from 15-40mm with an accuracy of ±0.1mm & a resolution of 0.01mm, eye modes include Normal, Aphakic, Pseudophakic & Dense Cataract, Pseudophakic mode is able to select three materials: Silicone, Acrylic & PMMA and measurements may be acquired automatically or manually & in contact or immersion modes. The TOMEY TL-2000B auto lensmeter is designed for fast & easy operation. In auto mode, the readings are automatically held when the lens is properly aligned. The monochrome touch panel display is clearly visible in virtually all environments. Prism can be displayed in rectangular coordinates, popular coordinates or displacement from the optical center. The results can be printed with the built-in printer. It is equipped with an RS-232C port for data transmission to a computer.

• AC- powered Corneal Topographers (FDA Code: MMQ / 886.1350) A keratoscope is an AC-powered or battery-powered device intended to measure and evaluate the corneal curvature of the eye. Lines and circles within the keratoscope are used to observe the corneal reflex. This generic type of device includes the photokeratoscope which records corneal curvature by taking photographs of the cornea. |
• AC-Powered Biomicroscope Slit Lamp (FDA Code: HJO / 886.1850) An AC-powered slitlamp biomicroscope is an AC-powered device that is a microscope intended for use in eye examination that projects into a patient's eye through a control diaphragm a thin, intense beam of light. |
• AC-Powered Keratoscope (FDA Code: HLQ / 886.1350) |
• AC-Powered Lens Measurment Instrument (FDA Code: HLM / 886.1425) A lens measuring instrument is an AC-powered device intended to measure the power of lenses, prisms, and their centers (e.g., lensometer). |
• AC-Powered Tonometer (FDA Code: HKX / 886.1930) A tonometer and accessories is a manual device intended to measure intraocular pressure by applying a known force on the globe of the eye and measuring the amount of indentation produced (Schiotz type) or to measure intraocular tension by applanation (applying a small flat disk to the cornea). Accessories for the device may include a tonometer calibrator or a tonograph recording system. The device is intended for use in the diagnosis of glaucoma. |
