Profile: Triangle Biomedical Sciences, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures and markets a comprehensive line of innovative instrumentation, apparatus, reagents and consumables for the medical discipline of histology. Our product categories are tissue processing, microtomy, small instruments, reagents, consumables, and labelers. Our ATP™ tissue processor safely transports both reagents and waxes to & from the retort, thereby preventing solution crossover, while improving tissue quality. It has a single precision rotary valve. It has been manufactured to accommodate 2 tissue baskets or 300 cassettes. The reagent required is just 2.5 liters of reagent solution. Our SHUR/Sharp™ microtomes are precision-engineered microtomes with a solid one-piece metal base. The specimen arm has a 70mm vertical stroke and a 40mm horizontal extension. The coarse advance handwheel can be ordered to provide forward movement of the specimen arm when turned in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. The fine advance handwheel is counterbalanced for smooth rotation and has positive locking in any position.
