Profile: VasoNova, Inc. specializes in the development of vascular navigation system. We develop navigation system for the optimal placement of vascular access devices. Using a combination of intravascular doppler ultrasound and electrocardiogram (ECG) technology, internal physiological parameters are used to achieve precise catheter positioning at the desired location, such as the lower third of the superior vena cava (SVC). The VasoNova™ vascular positioning system (VPS) rapidly and accurately guides & positions the catheter, giving the confidence of placing the PICC line at the desired location. Our VPS can contribute to faster and more confident insertion, providing a clear indication of arrival at the desired location & quick indication if the PICC is traveling into the undesired veins such as jugular, innominate, or azygos veins. The VPS technology notifies the user when the catheter tip is close to the vessel wall, allowing the user to make real-time adjustments of the catheter instead of hitting the wall repeatedly.
