Profile: Vioptix, Inc. develops tissue oximetry technology which enables direct and real-time measurement of local tissue oxygen saturation. Our products are T.Ox tissue oximeter, T.Ox remote, T.Ox SP sensor, T.Ox SS sensor and thenar sensors. Our T.Ox tissue oximeter is a lightweight and portable A/C power-operated unit with a 30-minute lithium ion battery backup. The console has a color LCD display monitor with touchscreen, one channel standard, with a two-channel option, and can hold up to two fiber optic sensors. Our T.Ox remote is a wi-fi enabled device. It is capable of wireless transmission of T.Ox data from the console to any internet accessible device including PDAs, smart phones and personal computers. Our T.Ox Remote will enable the staff to confidently decide when to call the surgeon. Our T.Ox SS (silicone surround) sensor enables monitoring of flap applications. The clear silicone collar facilitates visualization of underlying flap tissue. Our thenor sensors are used for StO2 monitoring of the thenar eminence. The sensor comes with an attached shield that has an adhesive which is used to adhere the sensor to the base of the patient's thumb and to protect the sensor from interference from ambient light.
