Profile: Wilson Optical Laboratories, Inc. develops coatings for all types of optical products. We have obtained the ISO9001:2000 certification. Our Rx Custom Coating Division offers a variety of anti-reflective, sunglass, hydrophobic, and specialty lens treatments for prescription lenses. Our Opticlear Premium® is a hydrophobic, broadband, anti-reflective coating with six layers per side. The sixth layer creates a smudge resistance and hydrophobic surface that is chemically bonded for easy to clean and improved scratch performance of the coating. This coating allows 99.5 per cent light transmission. We offer a variety of glass color coatings and styles available in solid or gradient versions. Our CRT coatings combine UV blocking treatments with a high quality anti-reflective coating and special color tint. The result is a product that vigorously combats VDT glare and reflection, while improving contrast between characters on the computer screen for easy, comfortable viewing. Solar Radiation Control® (SRC) is our comprehensive sunwear coating program for premium sunwear. We also offer coatings for various types of mirrors. Our dip-applied coatings provide extreme precision capabilities for customizing plastic and glass substrates. They include scratch-resistant hardcoating, hydrophobic over-coating, chemical/fuel resistant hardcoating, and anti-fog & anti-static coating.

The company was founded in 1974, has revenues of USD 1-5 Million, has ~50 employees and is ISO 9001 certified.
