Profile: Xstrahl (formerly Gulmay Medical) manufactures and markets X-ray therapy equipment. We offer a wide range of Xstrahl X-ray medical therapy systems. The Xstrahl 100 is a low energy dermatological treatment unit. The compact design enables maximum maneuverability and unrestricted applicator positioning, allowing treatment of common facial lesions. The system has designed for installation into a mobile unit for transport to satellite clinics and day care centers. The Xstrahl 150 is a higher energy superficial treatment unit designed for permanent installation within the radiotherapy department or clinic. The Xstrahl 200 is ideally suited for both superficial and orthovoltage techniques in the treatment of skin cancer. Full dosimetry control, applicator and filter recognition are available with all our orthovoltage treatment units. The Xstrahl Orthovoltage X-ray therapy system offers proven treatment for boney metastases and benign conditions. The patient can adopt any position ensuring maximum comfort throughout the treatment exposure. All of our research systems enable the safe irradiation of samples within a laboratory environment. The production of ionizing radiation by a controllable electronic system dramatically reduces the cost and regulatory burden associated with the use of radioactive sources. Our SARRP research platform combines imaging technology with irradiation capabilities to enable image guided radiation to be delivered in a research environment. SARRP uses a dual focus X-ray tube for both imaging and radiation delivery. We also design and manufacture bespoke calibration equipment in collaboration with many national standards laboratories throughout the world.
