Profile: Atago U.S.A., Inc. specializes in the research & development, manufacture and export of scientific instruments including refractometers. The PAL-1 is a completely redesigned digital hand-held instrument. Its compact size allows to carry it easily around and use it indoors as well as outdoors. These are ergonomically designed for one-handed operation. The sample stage is designed to keep sample solutions from spilling out. The automatic temperature compensation function of the PAL-1 enables to take measurement readings regardless of the ambient temperature. The DPH-2 digital pH meter is easy to use. These are compact and portable pH meters that can accurately measure the pH & electric conductivity values of a variety of liquids. It has a compact, portable design and is water resistant ( IP67 ), so it can be cleaned under running water & submersed into water without any negative effects. It has an automatic temperature compensation mechanism that function from 0 to 50°C. With these features, the DPH-2 is perfect for many different applications including brewing & fermentation, alkali washing liquids, and other soluble solutions. PRM-85 in-line refractometer is suitable for use in the control of mixing, concentration, fermentation, and control of the concentration of water-based or alkali-based detergent. With automatic temperature compensation according to the sample liquid, correct concentration or Brix is displayed in output.

• Clinical Refractometer (FDA Code: JRE / 862.2800) A refractometer for clinical use is a device intended to determine the amount of solute in a solution by measuring the index of refraction (the ratio of the velocity of light in a vacuum to the velocity of light in the solution). The index of refraction is used to measure the concentration of certain analytes (solutes), such a plasma total proteins and urinary total solids. Measurements obtained by this device are used in the diagnosis and treatment of certain conditions. |

• Ophthalmic Refractometer (FDA Code: HKO / 886.1760) An ophthalmic refractometer is an automatic AC-powered device that consists of a fixation system, a measurement and recording system, and an alignment system intended to measure the refractive power of the eye by measuring light reflexes from the retina. |
• pH Meter (FDA Code: JQY / 862.2050) General purpose laboratory equipment labeled or promoted for a specific medical use is a device that is intended to prepare or examine specimens from the human body and that is labeled or promoted for a specific medical use. |
• Polarimeter (FDA Code: JQZ / 862.2050) |
• Total Protein Refractometric Test (FDA Code: JGR / 862.1635) A total protein test system is a device intended to measure total protein(s) in serum or plasma. Measurements obtained by this device are used in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases involving the liver, kidney, or bone marrow as well as other metabolic or nutritional disorders. |
