Properties
Master Bond’s medical grade systems are custom formulated to achieve outstanding performance properties custom formulated to maximize production, ensuring that your end result meets your expectations. Some properties include:
Popular Medical Grade Compounds by Master Bond
EP42HT-2Med – Epoxy system offering thermal stability, cures at room temperatures and withstands exposure to radiation, ETO, chemical and steam sterilization.
EP41SMed – Rapid setting, low viscosity, two part compound with superior resistance to cold sterilants, ETO and gamma radiation. It can be used in both reusable and disposable medical devices.
EP30Med – Features very low viscosity along with outstanding chemical resistance, dimensional stability, hardness and superb optical clarity. Electrical insulation properties are superior even upon prolonged exposure to moisture.
EP21TDCSMed – Silver conductive epoxy with low volume resistivity and USP Class VI certification. It readily develops a high bonding strength of more than 1800 psi tensile shear and a T-peel of greater than 20 pli when measured and cured at 75°F.
EP3HTMed – One component, no mix, epoxy that resists repeated autoclaving and chemical sterilization. It has an unlimited working life and cures fast at elevated temperatures (minimum 250°F).
