Our Wavicide® is a 2.65% glutaraldehyde sterilant / high level disinfectant soaking solution that has been tested and approved for use with endoscopes & stainless steel surgical instruments. It kills M.tuberculosis in 45 minutes at room temperature. It does not contain carcinogen ortho-phenyl phenol. Our Total-Fix fixative is a single vial system for the preservation of fecal specimens. The preserved fecal specimens can be used for the formalin sedimentation concentration, permanent stained smears (trichrome or iron-hematoxylin), and certain fecal immunoassays for cryptosporidium spp. & giardia lamblia.
