Profile: Proteor Handicap Technologie markets orthopedic appliances. Our products include prosthetics, orthotics and components for spinal orthoses and seat-braces. We provide feet, knees, ankles, and hip joints, connectors & alignment devices, temporary sockets, valves, liners, sheaths, cosmetic covers, suspenders, and prosthetic care. We supply orthotic components for lower limb and upper extremity. Our hybrid knee is a knee joint that provides stance phase control through the combination of a hydraulic damping and the MRS system. The swing phase control by a microprocessor acts on the pneumatic pressure allowing the joint to react smoothly to movements and gait speed variations. We offer front bearings for single axis foot and heel dampers for single axis foot. Our hip joint with articulated transversal pieces comprises of ball bearing pivots with forked lower component for wooden or plastic prostheses, and has cross-shape for alloy prosthesis.
