Identification. An intravascular administration set is a device used to administer fluids from a container to a patient's vascular system through a needle or catheter inserted into a vein. The device may include the needle or catheter, tubing, a flow regulator, a drip chamber, an infusion line filter, an I.V. set stopcock, fluid delivery tubing, connectors between parts of the set, a side tube with a cap to serve as an injection site, and a hollow spike to penetrate and connect the tubing to an I.V. bag or other infusion fluid container.
Classification. Class II (special controls). The special control for pharmacy compounding systems within this classification is the FDA guidance document entitled "Class II Special Controls Guidance Document: Pharmacy Compounding Systems; Final Guidance for Industry and FDA Reviewers." Pharmacy compounding systems classified within the intravascular administration set are exempt from the premarket notification procedures in subpart E of this part and subject to the limitations in 880.9.

Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is the study of signals in a digital representation and the processing methods of these signals. The subfields of signal processing are Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Analog Digital Processing(ASP). DSP includes subfields like audio and speech signal processing, sonar and radar signal processing, sensor array processing, spectral estimation, statistical signal processing, digital image processing, signal processing for communications, biomedical signal processing and seismic data processing. Since the goal of DSP is usually to measure or filter continuous real-world analog signals, the first step is usually to convert the signal from an analog to a digital form, by using an analog to digital converter. Often, the required output signal is another analog output signal, which requires a digital to analog converter. DSP algorithms have long been run on standard computers, on specialized processors called digital signal processors (DSPs), or on purpose-built hardware such as application-specific integrated circuit (ASICs). Today there are additional technologies used for digital signal processing including more powerful general purpose microprocessors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), digital signal controllers mostly for industrial apps such as motor control and stream processors.

An image storage device comprising an A/D converter for converting an analog image signal transmitted from a high resolution TV camera into a digital image signal to be stored, a D/A converter to which the stored digital image signal is output after being read out and by which the output digital image signal is converted to an analog image signal to be output to a TV monitor, the device having a plurality of memories for storing a digital signal input as a high resolution image and converted by A/D converter in parallel in time series, a controller for controlling the image signal stored in each memory corresponding to the frame frequency of a receiver to be used at a time lag of one frame, and a selector for outputting the digital image signal read out of each memory to the D/A converter by selecting the image depending on the select signal of said controller .

Laser have a very narrow beam which allows the mapping of physical features with very high resolution compared with radar. In addition, many chemical compounds interact more strongly at visible wavelengths than at microwaves, resulting in a stronger image of these materials. Suitable combinations of lasers can allow for remote mapping of atmospheric contents by looking for wavelength-dependent changes in the intensity of the returned signal. Laser imaging systems can be divided into scanning systems and non-scanning systems. The scanning system can again be divided into sub-groups by the way the laser beam is scanned across the object. Beam-scanners scan a narrow beam, typically in lines on top of each other, therefore this type of system is called a Laser Line Scanner (LLS). Fan-beam scanners scan a fan-shape beam across the object
